Most of us spend far too much of our lives believing we need to do more, get things right, or become someone better before we're worthy of love and belonging.

The Standard exists to offer a different reminder.

The reminders you'll find here are simple, but they're also the reminders I needed most:

Loved as is.

Love without conditions.

I created The Standard because I know what it feels like to believe love has to be earned.

For a long time, I thought being lovable depended on getting things right, doing more, or becoming someone better.

I was wrong.
